WINDOW WASHING

Q: How Are My Windows Counted And Cleaned?

A: The double hung windows count as 1 window. Sliding glass doors & picture windows are counted as 2 windows per each piece of glass. All other windows are counted as each piece of glass equals 1 window.

Our window cleaners use hand-held squeegees and cotton cloths. Each window cleaner will bring all equipment necessary to clean your home so that you can have peace of mind. The products that we use for our window cleaning services are Joy Soap & Ammonia. The screens & storms are taken down & hand washed on both sides. Water supply is needed.

POWER WASHING

Q: How Do You Avoid Damaging My Home With High Pressure?

A: All pressure washing services is capable of producing high pressure output, but most cleaning is done at low pressure. Our pressure washers are sure to examine the type of surface they are power washing to make sure that the right amount of water pressure is used.

Q: What Is The Difference In Renting/ Buying My Own Pressure Washer Or Hiring A Service?

A: The difference is in the capability of the equipment and the expertise of trained pressure washers. Most rental power washing equipment have the same PSI (pounds per square inch) as commercial-grade equipment, but the volume of water that they can hold is minimal. This results in projects that can take days instead of hours, wasting your time and money.

Most DIY power washers also do not realize that a proper and thorough cleaning is not always a result of high pressure. Because of this, an untrained power washer may use a water pressure setting that is too high and too close to the surface being cleaned, which often results in damaged screens, chipped painting, and ruined siding. Professional power washers have the equipment and training to recognize appropriate pressure and distance for each project in order to protect your home from damage.

GUTTER CLEANING

Q: How Often And Why Should I Have My Gutters Cleaned?

A: Gutters are designed to help divert rainwater from your roof away from your house. If these gutters are clogged, this rainwater can go under your home, potentially compromising your foundation or flooding your basement. Clogged gutters can also lead to water damage to wood trimming and siding. Having one of our professional gutter cleaners provide preventative maintenance will avert expensive repairs.

The trees around your home can often dictate on how often the service is needed, depending on their proximity to your home and the amount of debris they drop during certain portions of the year. Most homeowners choose to have their gutters cleaned twice a year: once in the spring as pollen and seedlings drop and once more in the fall, after most of the leaves have fallen. However, if you are having gutter issues it is best to have them cleaned as soon as possible, as it could save you a lot of headaches and money in water damage to your home in the long run.

MAKING APPOINTMENTS

Q: Who Will Be Sent To My Home And How Should I Prepare For My Service? What Happens If It's Raining On My Day of Service?

A: All of our window washers are trained professionals that have been with Bubbles for years. Bubbles LLC is Insured.

Not much is needed for preparation. Just move any large items that block the windows, breakables should be cleared away & blinds/drapes should either be taken down or drawn up/to the side.

Q: How Long Does the Process Take and What Type of Payment Do You Accept? When Is A Good Time To Schedule An Appointment?

A: You should allow at least 2 hours for a job well done! If it is only outside work, you don’t have to be home. We will accept a credit card payment over the phone prior to you service. Please be sure if you will not be home that the screens/storms can be removed from the outside. If not you will need to kindly remove them or we wouldn’t be able to clean the outside of the actual window.

We accept checks made out to Bubbles LLC, Visa, MasterCard & Discover. Bubbles Window Washing & Gutter Cleaning is open year round, Monday through Saturday. Most of our customers schedule appointments two to four times per year. Our arrival times are between 8-12, 11-2, and 2-4.
